Seal script engraved on the top part of a stele
The sixteen seal script characters state: "Datang kaiyuan tianbao shengwen shengwu huangdi zhu xiaojing tai" (Stele of the Notes to the Canon of Filial Piety by His Majesty in Kaiyuan and Tianbao period of the Great Tang Empire)
